Artist’s Comments: While the other Birthstone Goddesses do their best to guide and protect the spirits of mortals, the Lady of October wanders in their between-spaces. In this season of mists where the veil grows thin, many spirits become lost. She draws them to herself with the strong scent of marigolds, the offering of candles and flowers guiding her way to them.
One need never fear the dark before the Winter, for she will always be there with a warm embrace to guide the lost back to the light.
